Crisol—leading brand of cooking oils in the Dominican Republic—was introducing Crisol Más, a brand of 100% pure canola oil targeted towards middle-aged, health-conscious Dominicans, many of whom were at high risk of developing heart health issues. Our strategic research established that MDs would be the top influencers for Crisol Más, cardiologists recommend that their patients switch to canola oil. Research also revealed that a majority of middle-aged Dominicans admit to frequently lying to their doctors about following their orders. These insights led to our creative solution: Crisol Más, for a healthier heart and a cleaner conscience.
“Eat what you love” introduced Dominicans to Crisol Más by celebrating their freedom to enjoy their favorite foods while caring for their heart, just what the doctor ordered! Cheddy Garcia, charismatic actress and brilliant comedian, was simply delightful as our campaign spokesperson and brand ambassador. Cheddy perfectly embodied the playful tone of our message, while lending her credibility as a respected entertainer.
